LA TROCHITA AND EL BOLSON (OLD PATAGONIAN EXPRESS)

Departure from Bariloche, along Gutiérrez, Mascardi and Guillelmo lakes, on route 258. Arrival al El Bolsón, a small village where it may be possible to visit the typical handcrafts market, some farms, and have time for lunch. After lunch, the bus goes on to Leleque, where we take the Old Patagonian Express, on which we ride for 45 kms. (aprox. 2 hours). The train travels to El Maitén station, Short visit to the maintenance shops. This ride on the train takes you back to old times, and surrounded by the desert, you will feel the enchantment of argentine Patagonia. Return to Bariloche is by the Cuesta del Ternero, and the again on route 258.
