FULL DAY NEUMEYER REFUGE
Neumeyer Refuge is situated in the dense woods, surrounded by a wonderful landscape, 18 km away from San Carlos de Bariloche. The journey starts at Onelli St. Which meets route 258 to El Bolsón. 2.7 km later the journey continues on a ripple road where the adventure begins, arriving at the refuge, surrounded by a dense “Lenga” woods.
During the summer it is possible to hike very easily along several paths. One of them is interpretative in order to get to know the woods, the steppe and the local flora and fauna. There are also paths for mountain bike.
The refuge is easily reached by regular vehicles from November to may.
Autumn is a magical season, in which the “lenga” woods turn red.
Departure from Bariloche at 9:00 a.m. toward Neumeyer Refuge. Once there, we will have breakfast and choose between the different activities to do. One option is to hike to the “Laguna Verde” and “Mirador del Pedregoso” which lasts about two hours and a half.
Back at the refuge we will have lunch and in the afternoon, you may go on another hiking excursion to “Mirador del Chall-Huaco” where you will have the possibility to learn how to use the mountain escalade elements.
Tea is served once again at the refuge.
Return to Bariloche.
