“Buenos Aires murals”
"The highest and purest form of painting is the mural (...) It is also the most disinterested, since
personal profit cannot be turned object; it cannot be hidden for the benefit of a few privileged
people. It is for the people. It is for ALL ". José Clemente OROZCO, (1883-1949)
The muralism was originated thanks to the essential necessity of a universal conscience, a plastic
expression of social facts through forms, images, dialogues of lullaby or heartrendering shouts.
This is an interesting opportunity to get to know this artistic expression in all its diversity: mural
painting, esgrafiado, escultoric relief, ceramic, vitraux, mosaics, and enamels to fire.
