“Communities Tour” Collectivities city tour
There are 16 circuits with different ethnic options. The tour starts at the Museum of the
Immigrants, which used to be the original “Immigrants Hotel”. This Hotel operated between 1911 and 1953. It provided shelter to more than six
million men, women and children who arrived to our country hoping for better living conditions.
Among these immigrants there were Italians, Spaniards, Frenchmen, Jews, British, Germans,
Russians, Polish, Armenians and middle-easterners mainly from Syria and Lebanon. the tour delve into the history of city and highlight the works and legacy of these people who are an integral part of the community nowadays. These
tours include visits to special buildings, monuments, parks, community centers, houses of faith,
factories of the chosen community. Some of the communities that can be visit are, French, Italian, Korean, North American, Japanese, Russian, Polish, Jewish, Irish, English, Spanish, Chinese, Armenian, Germans, and others. It finishes with a typical meal in one of the neighborhoods
that we visit.
Duration is around 5 hours
Departures from Monday to Saturday at 9.30 am and 2 pm. Without minimum of pax.
