Montevideo

Montevideo is modern metropolis with a historical old town dating to colonial times. Surrounding the whole city lies an uninterrupted stretch of white sandy beach. The tour includes transfer to the port of Buenos Aires to board modern ferry to sail across the River plate, city tour, hydrofoil or ferry back to Buenos aires and transfer to the hotel. Upon arrival, we will see the old Montevideo main highlights, including the Independence Square, Plaza matriz (Cathedral square). the Old town hall, solis theatre, the Cathedral and the Legislative palace (congress). later on we will clime up to Montevideo Hill to enjoy a panoramic view of the bay and the city and we will continue along United nations Avenue, a picturesque riverside boulevard towards Carrasco residential area. After lunch we will have some spare time to enjoy the city by ourselves.
