Full day excursion

Excursion to the center of the glacier. Departure from the front desk of the hostel, embarking in Puerto Bajo de las Sombras and disembarking on the opposite coast of Brazo River to start an approximately three kilometer trekking through the forest. The group will then descend to the glacier through the `morena´. Once on the glacier, guests may begin their walks on the glacier, - wearing crampons-, discovering blue lagoons, deep cracks, pits and caves. Lunch takes place inside the glacier. Lunch boxes are provided. On the way back, the ship approaches very near the southern side of the Perito Moreno Glacier so that visitors may appreciate eventual breakages.

Duration: between 7 and 8 hours.
Difficulty: high. This is an excursion intended for people over 18 years and less than 55 years, well trained and with a very good fitness.

Its essential to take sunglasses, high trekking shoes, sun filters and water proof garments.
