Peninsula Reserve is a unique place. It is located over the margins of the Paraná River, just 7 km. away from Puerto Iguazú and just 15 km. from the most extraordinary Falls. It has 15.000 has, naturally protected by three National Parks, they are: to the East, Iguazú National Park, Argentina, to the North-East, Foz do Iguazú National Park, Brasil and to the North, Moisés Bertoni National Park, Paraguay.
In this reserve, the visitor can fully enjoy the Misionera Forest and its exclusive eco touristic resources, with its 2000 pristine species, the possibility of  sighting the enriched birdfauna of the region, more than 400 bird species, highlighting toucans, “trogons”, orioles, wood-peckers, magpies, humming birds and others, the abundant autochthonous fauna  and its Iguazú and Paraná varied ichthyofauna.
The natural and enviable topography of the land, makes the place a luxurious ecological one and nature has designed a paradise all of which contributes to make the visitor find relax, pleasure and admiration  for the forest, inciting to the practice of  activities such as:

• RAPPEL: The protagonist enjoys Rappeling going down through rocky gorges between waterfalls and huge trees. Once a couple of meters down, until the tree canopy where the tactically located platform is situated and before starting the descensus, the forest roof is experienced and appreciated. The sensation experienced is really in descriptible

• TREKKING: hike through narrow straits covered with fallen leaves, herbaceous ferns, philodendros, climbing plants, pinks, lichens, moss, etc. The species variability is showy because of its colourful inflorescences together with the permanent birds trill.

• TYROLESE OR TYROLINE: system to cross gorges. The protagonist puts on a pelvic harness and hooks with a short musket to a fixed two points end through which he will displace various meters high going intrepidly through gorges and gulches and all other kind of irregular lands that mother nature presents to us.

• CANOPY: the visitor feels he is half bird and half human (bird men) displacing between the most important tree-top of the forest, even in some opportunities he can be accompanied by some toucan that flies at the same height. Men slide from one tree to the other, hanged from a horness to the two point steel ends, strategically secured with tree biocompatible elements without damaging its barks, distant in between more than 70 meters and as unique link, the wooden platforms strapped to the aged and thick trees. From the altitudes, the forest bioma can be appreciated. This is how the Canopy looks like, a new way of enjoying nature and life itself, where adrenaline is the principal protagonist of this tour.

The ones who love nature can continue doing activities in this reservation such as: trips on 4x4 vehicles through winding vehicular trails and singing streams, contemplative tours, with the possibility of sighting birdfauna; there are strategically located observatories in lakes and appropiate spaces for this activity, jungle bike along red paths and special trails to enjoy nature in all its splendor. To finish with part of the activities IGUAZU FOREST offers, we cannot leave aside the activities that take place at the Paraná River: Motor boats, Canoes, Jet Ski, Bananoe, AcuaticSki.

IGUAZU FOREST, specialized in eco touristic-recreational activities, counts on highly skilled personnel in the performance of the mentioned services and fully contemplates every matter related to the personnel security and the people who carry out the different activities, permanently inspecting the everyday elements and the environment´s conservation. One of the tasks the IGUAZU FOREST personnel most insists on is to promote and educate the visitors on all the ecological estates and norms established for the preservation of the natural flora and fauna system of the region.
