Salta
City Tour of Salta and San Lorenzo Village
We will visit the city and its principle sites and monuments, particularly the Government House, José Uriburu Museum, the Cathedral, San Francisco and Our Lady of Light churches, San Bernardo Convent, and theMonument to Martín Miguel de Güemes. Afterwards we will climb San Bernardo Hill from where we can view the entire Lerma Valley.
Then we will visit the summery village of San Lorenzo. Crossing the Vaqueros River, Castellanos and Lesser, we will return to the point of departure.
Cafayate
We will leave the city of Salta and we will go into the Salta mountain range with a landscape of singularly beauty and splendor. We will pass by Cerrillos, La Merced, El Carril, Coronel Moldes, Ampascachi, La Viña, Talapampa, Alemania, Quebrada del Río Las Conchas, until we arrive to Cafayate. In this beautiful city we will visit a wine cellar and a museum of indigent art. Then we will return to Salta.

Train to the Clouds
This marvelous tour permits us, leaving from Salta , to visit part of the mountain range until we arrive at the chilean border. The railroad line is one of the most important works of railroad engineering in the world, that must make many turns, with sharp curves and "curls" passing through tunnels. Ascending about 1200 meters at sea level at more than 4100 meters.
On our climb we will visit indigent peoples until we end our journey in San Antonio de los Cobres and the Viaduct of La Polvorilla. During the journey we will have the pertinent explanations and we can lunch in the dining car (duration: 14 hours).

Night Show with dinner "Gauchos of Güemes" Leaving from the hotel we will be transported to the monument to Güemes at the foot of San Bernardo hill, the statue of Víctor Gariño, inaugurated in 1931. At the side you can find the Gaucho Club of Güemes. In this club we will have supper in an atmosphere of extreme happiness. We can enjoy the typical foods of the region, such as "empanadas", "tamales", "locro" (meat, potatoes, corn and pepper dish), etc. We can also listen to the music and songs of Northwest Argentina sung by typical voices.
