Antarctic Cruse 10 days/9 nights This type of cruise can only be taken between December and March that lasts about 10 days on ships of more than 15,000 tons, 20 feet in depth, from 150 to 200 meters in length and more than 20 meters in width. The ship will leave with all comforts: swimming  pool, discotheque, casino, commercial gallery, reading room, bars and ample and modern state rooms, and normally host more than 1,000 passengers and more than 200 crew members. The life on board is very pleasant in that they will carry on board first class artists and singers, and passengers will witness all type of spectacles. The normal itinerary is: leave from Ushuaia, go to the principle Naval Bases of the Argentine Republic in the Argentine Territory of the Antarctic such as Esperanza Bay, Brown, Melchior, Decepción and the 25 de Mayo. The passengers will be accompanied by scientists that will offer all the necessary information, take trips to the interior of the continent leaving the bases in comfortable vehicles, especially drawn. You can also chat with the residents of the bases during the journey and observe interesting animals of the antartic fauna, penguins, sea elephants, seals, sea lions, comorants, etc. |
