Day 1: Buenos Aires - City Tour Buenos Aires - Buenos Aires

Welcoming at Ezeiza International Airport and transfer to Buenos Aires in a private vehicle.

Visit Buenos Aires (half day, private tour).

Buenos Aires, a cosmopolitan city with European features, is among the 10 most active cities in the world. City of arts, cultures, theaters, traditions ... The variety satisfies the most demanding visitor.
You visit the 9 de Julio Avenue, the widest in the world, dominated by the obelisk, a symbol of Buenos Aires. You will pass the Colon Theatre, one of the jewels of the Argentine architecture. Then you arrive to the famous or central Plaza de Mayo, next to buildings such as the Casa Rosada or Casa de Gobierno, the Cabildo and the Cathedral.

You end your day with the picturesque neighborhood of La Boca, and specifically the alley El Caminito, the spot for painters, tango dancers and singers.
Return to your hotel after the visit.
An English-speaking guide will acompany you during the city tour.

Day 2: Buenos Aires - Soirée Tango - Buenos Aires


Buenos Aires, a cosmopolitan city with European features, is among the 10 most active cities in the world.
City of arts, cultures, theatres, traditions ... The variety satisfies even the most demanding visitor.

Guided tour of Recoleta neighbourhood, characterized by colonial houses, often old houses of historical figures, currently inhabited by powerful Argentine families. You enter the luxurious Pacifico Shopping Center, characterized by its French architecture of 1889, with vaulted ceilings. This stunning place is one of the favourite places in Argentina.

Later you visit Recoleta Cemetery, where many celebrities, writers and politicians rest. The best known and most revered, even today is the tomb of Evita Peron, the legendary wife of President Peron.

You continue your visit to Palermo neighbourhood, with a stroll in the park Tres de Febrero, inaugurated in 1875, representing the largest green area of the city.
In the early afternoon, you visit San Telmo neighbourhood, with its many antique shops.

Return to the hotel in late afternoon.

Transfer from the hotel to Café de los Angelitos (Little Angel’s Café) between 20h and 20:30h.

The Café de los Angelitos Tango is part of the “porteña” history. Los Angelitos is a living witness of over 100 years of local history. Countless celebrities came to this café.

In an intimate atmosphere, the show starts … 5 dancing couples, together with singers and an orchestra. The performance will take you to the history of Tango since the 20s all the way to Piazzolla, with some modern components.

It’s a dynamic and intense show that amazes the spectator in a very special environment.
Elegant suites, desired lightning effects are other components of a wild show. Enjoy the performance with the cuisine that honours the local meals lit by candles. Welcome to Angelitos!

Day 3: Buenos Aires - Puerto Iguazu - Iguazu National Park, Argentinean side - Puerto Iguazu

Departure to the Iguazú National Park, 18 km from the city centre. Walk along the lower and upper footbridges in the Devil’s Gorge. The Iguazu falls in the Misiones province are always beyond the expectation and the imagination of the visitors. It is often said that the falls are to be admired from the Brazilian side but experienced in the Argentinean side. A complete tour should thus include both sides of the falls. They are formed by a 70 meters drop in the elevation of the Iguazu River with 275 falls.
The first day of the tour is dedicated to the Argentinean side where the falls can be seen from various viewing, you can admire falls such as Bosetti, Mbigua and San Martin. We will continue with the lower circuit to observe the Dos Hermanas falls and the San Martin Island.
In the afternoon, the tour goes to the "Garganta del Diablo" circuit with a viewing point in front of the superb and powerful fall, over 150 meters long and 80 meters high. This impressive wonder is surrounded with a thick mist which is one of the biggest attractions of the National Park. The park does not only feature this stunning landscape but also an intense wildlife and flora.
Note: Please remember to take light waterproof clothing along.

Night at Aldea de la Selva Lodge ***.

Day 4: Iguazu National Park Brazilian side - Puerto Iguazu - Yacutinga Lodge - Puerto Iguazu - Yacutinga Lodge

Departure to the Brazilian side of the waterfalls. The 1,200 meters circuit takes the visitor along footbridges and viewing decks to admire the minor Floriano and Teodoro Da Fonseca falls and finally, the Santa María falls, from where the panorama onto Island San Martín and the entirety of the falls is absolutely breathtaking.

Note: from mid-October to mid-February, Brazil is one hour ahead of Argentina (daylight saving time).
Transfer from Puerto Iguazu to Yacutinga Lodge in a private vehicle.
Departure from Raices Argentinas at 14:30 through Urugua Provincial Park, north of the country where we change the vehicle for the last 12 km to the entrance of the Private Refuge of Wildlife Yacutinga.

Day 5: Yacutinga Lodge


Early in the morning, we sail on the San Francisco river, which flows into the natural reserve; this is a photo safari and wildlife viewing.
This tour has a length of about 3 hours, in silence in the middle of the forest. Mid-morning return to the Lodge.

Lunch.

Free time to explore the various self-guided trails or simply enjoy the comfort of the Lodge (swimming, Wild Orchids and Hummingbirds project, etc).
In the afternoon, observation walks, accompanied by expert guides who provide information on the various natural habitats, fauna and flora.

Night outing "Jungle at night".

Back at the lodge, dinner and night at Lodge Yacutinga.

Day 6: Yacutinga Lodge - Puerto Iguazu - Yacutinga Lodge - Puerto Iguazu - Buenos Aires

Breakfast and free time to explore some of our self-guided interpretation trails or just relax in the Lodge area.

By mid-morning return to Puerto Iguazu.
