Day 1: Buenos Aires - City Tour Buenos Aires - Buenos Aires

Welcoming at Ezeiza International Airport and transfer to Buenos Aires in a private vehicle.

Visit Buenos Aires (half day, private tour).

Buenos Aires, a cosmopolitan city with European features, is among the 10 most active cities in the world. City of arts, cultures, theaters, traditions ... The variety satisfies the most demanding visitor.
You visit the 9 de Julio Avenue, the widest in the world, dominated by the obelisk, a symbol of Buenos Aires. You will pass the Colon Theatre, one of the jewels of the Argentine architecture. Then you arrive to the famous or central Plaza de Mayo, next to buildings such as the Casa Rosada or Casa de Gobierno, the Cabildo and the Cathedral.

You end your day with the picturesque neighborhood of La Boca, and specifically the alley El Caminito, the spot for painters, tango dancers and singers.
Return to your hotel after the visit.

Day 2: City Tour Buenos Aires - Buenos Aires

Visit Buenos Aires (half day and private tour).
Buenos Aires, a cosmopolitan city with European features, is among the 10 most active cities in the world. City of arts, cultures, theatres, traditions ... The variety satisfies even the most demanding visitor.

Guided tour of Recoleta neighbourhood, characterized by many colonial houses, often old houses of historical figures, currently inhabited by powerful Argentine families. You enter the luxurious Pacifico Shopping Center, characterized by its French architecture of 1889, with vaulted ceilings. This stunning place is one of the favourite places in Argentina.

Later you visit Recoleta Cemetery, where many celebrities, writers and politicians rest. The best known and most revered, even today is the tomb of Evita Peron, the legendary wife of President Peron.

You continue your visit to Palermo neighbourhood, with a stroll in the park Tres de Febrero, inaugurated in 1875, representing the largest green area of the city.
Return to your hotel.

Day 3: El Tigre - Buenos Aires


Departure in the morning in a private vehicule to visit the small seaside town of El Tigre, 32 km from the capital.

Tigre was founded in the early 19th century and is now a little urban island where the "Porteños" (Buenos Aires inhabitants) come to relax or to row every other weekend. We will visit the colorful market with its many shops.

At the port we will take a touring boat and navigate the quiet water of the Parana's delta.

Day 4: San Antonio de Areco - Buenos Aires


Discover San Antonio de Areco, the most atractive and traditional Argentine pampa town, and gaucho’s life in Estancia.
This trip gives us the chance to know, having fun at the same time, about one of the last towns in Argentina that jealously guard their customs, and keep their traditions alive, keeping the figure of gaucho as emblem of identity.

On the Estancia you will appreciate the beauty and simplicity of the Pampas nature, and learn about the rural life. You can meet real gauchos, and participate in activities such as horseback riding or carriage rides. Enjoying gaucho skills with horses and traditional folk music.

Itinerary:
8:30 am: Pick up at your hotel in Buenos Aires.
10:00 am: Reception at San Antonio de Areco by our local guide, who will show you the picturesque streets of the colonial historical center, “pulperías” (old gauchos´ bars), the renowned Ricardo Güiraldes Museum and traditional workshops.
12:30 pm: Departure to an exclusive Estancia, where you will be greeted with “empanadas” and a delicious “asado” (grilled meat). Then will follow a visit of the Estancia accompanied by our guide. Various activities will be offered: horseback riding or carriage, folkloric music, and “destrezas gauchas” (demonstration of gaucho skills). During the summers the Estancia open his swimming pool.
04:30pm Departure to Buenos Aires. Arrival aprox: 6:15pm.

Day 5: Rio de la Plata crossing - Colonia del Sacramento - Montevideo

Transfer from Buenos Aires to the Port in a private vehicle.
In the morning, you cross de la Plata River in a ferry to the charming town of Colonia de Sacramento.

You arrived by boat to Colonia Del Sacramento from Buenos Aires. You will be welcomed by our english-speaking guide and the private driver. You will visit the town of Colonia Del Sacramento. The city was founded by the Portuguese Empire, more precisely by the admiral Manuel de Lobo, in 1680. Colonia was claimed by both Portuguese and Spanish empires until 1777 when the agreement of San Ildefonso declared it Spanish property.

During the visit of the city, you will discover the famous "Calle de los Suspiros" (the sigh street). You will visit the Churchs of Saint Sacrament and San Pedro Bastion. You will also visit the lighthouse where you can benefit from an incredible panoramic view of the town.

Day 6: Montevideo


We enjoy Montevideo in the morning, touring through the Old City of Montevideo with the Independence Square (Plaza Independencia), where is the gate of the Citadel and the sculpture of José Artigas. At the monument to the heroes of the Oriental Republic of Uruguay we appreciate the presidential palace, the Solís Theatre and the Radisson Hotel.

After, we will go through the main avenue of Montevideo "18 de Julio" to the Legislative Palace, which has a fascinating architectural style, then we will visit the area of Prado with its unique style and its monument to the Charrúas.

We will continue, through the obelisk in honour of the ‘’Constituyentes’’ then get to Parque Batlle, where we have the monument a "La Diligencia" and the stage of the first FIFA World Cup organizes in 1930: Estadio Centenario.

We will visit the residential area of Carrasco, Punta Gorda, and Plaza Virgilio where you can enjoy the best view of the city. We will go through the Rambla towards the centre, through the neighbourhoods of Buceo and its small marina, Pocitos and Punta Carretas.

Day 7: Montevideo - Punta del Este - Montevideo


Departure from your hotel in the morning, we will go through the Rambla of Montevideo, to take the road which will lead us to Piriapolis located 100 km from the capital. In this picturesque resort we will pass the iconic Hotel Argentino, the marin , and then we will go on top of the ‘’Cerro de San Antonio’’ . Here, in addition to the chapel dedicated to San Antonio, you can enjoy a panoramic 360 degree view of the bay but also all along the coast to Punta del Este.

A 30-minute drive from Piriapolis is the famous resort of Punta del Este where we will access by the Rambla , passing the Playa Mansa , Hotel Conrad , the main Avenue General Gorlero, the Marina with its spectacular boats and its sea lions accompanying fishermen. Then we continue through the historic district of the peninsula where the first buildings were built, the church, the lighthouse and the Plaza Bretaña where is the point of separation that divides the Río de la Plata from the Atlantic Ocean .

We will continue along the Atlantic coast in the Playa Brava, where are the Galerie of the Americas and the iconic sculpture of ‘’ Los Dedos’’ of the Chilean artist Mario Irrazabal. Then we will visit the San Rafael neighborhood, with its lighthouse hotel, and we will go until the Wavy Bridge Leonel Viera, located between Punta del Este and La Barra de Maldonado.

After that, we will visit the most expensive residential area known as Beverly Hills, where you can enjoy expensive mansions with different architectural styles and beautiful gardens.

To finish this tour, we will go to the museum and workshop "Casa Pueblo" of the Uruguayan artist Carlos Paez Vilaro ($ 8.00 entry), located in Punta Ballena.

Day 8: Buenos Aires - Rio de la Plata crossing - Montevideo - Soirée Tango - Buenos Aires


Free time in the morning. Transfer from your hotel to the harbour of Montevideo with your guide.

In option: visit of the Bouza bodega, with wine testing and gastronomic lunch. It is one of the most prestigious bodega of Uruguay. The bodega has received more than 75 prizes at international level.

Ferry from Montevideo to Buenos Aires. About 3 hours navigating de la Plata River.
Welcoming at the Port and transfer to the hotel in a private vehicle.
Transfer from the hotel to Café de los Angelitos (Little Angel’s Café) between 20h and 20:30h.

The Café de los Angelitos Tango is part of the “porteña” history. Los Angelitos is a living witness of over 100 years of local history. Countless celebrities came to this café.

In an intimate atmosphere, the show starts … 5 dancing couples, together with singers and an orchestra. The performance will take you to the history of Tango since the 20s all the way to Piazzolla, with some modern components.

It’s a dynamic and intense show that amazes the spectator in a very special environment.
